Our CFC Christmas Angel this year is Elizabeth Clare. Elizabeth is remembered by her family for her bright blue eyes, infectious laugh, and her incredible ability to be brave. Elizabeth left home at the age of 16 and hitchhiked her way to Victoria with a couple of friends. She lived in James Bay, in an 18 man tent, in the middle of the bush. She then camped outside of the youth sanctuary in Victoria, Canada before moving onto tent city. When tent city was shut down, most of the residents were able to move into a building on Johnson Street. Lizzy was too young to live in the building and everyone refused to move in until Elizabeth could. To know her, was to love her. Elizabeth lost her battle with addiction May of 2022 at the age of 23. In her passing, she gave the gift of new life to five people who matched her organ donation. Upon collection of Elizabeth’s belongings, it was discovered that she had been saving over 40 items of clothing for her baby nephews she had yet to meet. This was Lizzy’s true nature, a kind and giving soul- in life and beyond.

Duffles of Love
CFC Loud N Clear Foundation in partnership with Oceans Harbor House gives back this holiday season to at-risk and vulnerable youth with "Duffles of Love!" Often times, children in these circumstances travel from place to place with garbage bags as their "suitcase." CFC is proud to donate duffles bags full of essential items, packed with love, just the way mom would.
